Shikai: Mayumi Hotaru Akane

Shikai abilities: Mayumi Hotaru Akane transforms into a short bow, bladed on each side (outside) of the handle, capable for both close and long range combat.
Her arrows are similar to a Quincy's in the fact that they are formed from spiritual energy, but that is where the similarities end between the two. Mayumi's special
ability allow Amaya to fire an arrow(up to three times in a fight) that will not miss.

Bankai: Maiko Hotaru Akane; Appearance: Short, blood red kimono with full length billowing sleeves and a black sash(black full length leggings and red flats);
transforms from bow to two hand held, bladed fans

Bankai abilities: Gives Amaya the ability to send out waves of spiritual pressure(similar to Getsuga Tensho, but not as strong, and red/magenta in color) by spinning in
a pirouette-like motion(with her arms out); increases speed

Other abilities: Heightened healing

Friends: Hachi, vaguely acquainted to Orihime(but doesn't like her much), usually stays on Hiyori's good side

Hair: Short, reddish-brown hair with at least three streaks of color (different color every day)at all times
Eyes: Very dark blue/ purple that turn reddish-orange when she hollowfies or uses her bankai
Other: Intricate tribal tattoos that cover most of her arms and legs, but won't say what they describe or where they came from
usually wears a black and red outfit: billow sleeved, usually slit up the arms and cropped off just below the chest with a black tank-top under neath,
red and black plaid mini-skirt and black leggings, red flats; usually wears a backwards-facing baseball cap( a different color every day) and spare
bandages on her arms(under her sleeves) for emergency use.

History: Amaya was sent with the other former Captains and Lieutenants as a healer for any wounded and wound up a Vizard as well. Before the Vizard incident,
Amaya served under Unohana and looked at Seinosuke Yamada like an older cousin, but not quite a brotherly figure, and was known for being rather blunt and cold
for a healer, but could heal and fight at a Lieutenant level.
